My experience from seeing Walter Dean Myers was very interesting. I had a chance to read one of the poems with Walter Dean Myers. Also, my school and I performed and we did a very good job. I felt very nervous to be up on stage, but when we were almost done I felt happy and joyful. I got my book signed and he started telling us more about his new book. I had a good time meeting Walter Dean Myers because he inspires people to read and write books.
