My experience of meeting the author
was enjoyable. I thought it was going to be boring and I thought
it was going to be just our school. Our school did a performance
it was funny in away because when we did our performance we were
scared and kind of shy. But we worked together to get it to work
well. Many other schools along with our school also asked many questions
of Walter Dean Myers. He was about 27 years olds when he first wrote
his first book. He said that when he writes his books he does not
get. Also, he grew up in Harlem. He seems like a good man. I got
my book signed.
