When I met Walter Dean Myers, I was so happy, Mr. Myers was a very interesting man who I think you would like to know more about. I admire the fact that we got a chance to ask him questions about himself. To me I enjoyed seeing, greeting and taking pictures. It seems like he’s interested in taking pictures just like me.

When I met Mr. Myers, he made me feel like I was really someone very important, a person who the whole world should get to know. I love the fact that I got a chance to meet the author of a book that I’m reading. I think I’m really blessed because most people don’t have chances to meet the authors of books they enjoy. I just want to say thanks you to the Open Book Program for giving me a chance to meet the author Walter Dean Myers.
